As a service to the vendors who signed up for the Xtream Fantasy Sex Show, and because Natasha was using my website as her own for vendor and sponsor contacts, I am going to publish updates to the situation as it progresses.

Update for Artists for the Okanagan Erotic Art Show

Hi to all.
I hope you are all doing well. I would like to thank you all for being so very patient as I try to sort things out. After discussion with a few artists about possible ways of handling the show as it is currently, and weighing a few different scenarios, I have decided on a course of action.

Too many questions

The Okanagan Erotic Art Show will no longer be held in conjunction with the Xtream Fantasy Sex Show at the end of April 2010.

Artworks have gone to the jury

The jury is undergoing the process of selecting the artworks for the 2010 Okanagan Erotic Art Show. This year I can tell you that the artworks submitted were across the spectrum from drawing to painting to digital to sculpture to tattoos and installation and more!

Little Boxes

Putting this year’s Erotic Art Show together, I have received a number of complaints, eyebrow raisings, and yes, a few congratulations on keeping the art scene in Kelowna interesting and on edge.

I just received a really nice email from a fellow artist here in town – Angela Bonten. Some of you may know Anjy from the Arts Council, or as the Artscape Director.

If you are worried about your reputation as an artist, please consider using a pseudonym if you really would like to enter but are nervous. Then you can choose whether to tell anyone that is your piece when the show is up. The show call for artists will now be open to US and Canada.
