2012 Submission Form
For 2012, I am pleased to announce that after such a successful show in 2011, the 5th annual Okanagan Erotic Art Show will be held at Ex Nihilo Winery in Lake Country, May 24th to June 28th. There will be a meet and greet for artists on Thursday May 24th 5 to 630 pm, and the opening is Friday May 25th 7-10 pm.
The show is open to artists world wide. The cost for entry remains at $10 per artwork maximum three artworks. Specific information on the submissions (ie requirements for images, bio etc) can be found here. Note if you pay via paypal, there is a $1 fee per piece to cover costs associated with Paypal.
Artists, as always, are welcome to consider any part of the sensual part of the human psyche and being. Submissions now being accepted until Feb 28th 2012. Download the submission form in rtf (rich textfile) format, or pdf. If you use the .rtf file format, please remove the extra spaces if there are any, it should fit nicely on two pages. No incomplete entries will be accepted.
If you would like to pay the entry fees by paypal, please use this button for either 1 2 or 3 entries. Payment is in Canadian Funds. You may send your images and entry form etc via email. Just put a note in the *Note* box on the payment form that you will be doing this.
This is the third year I have opened this show to outside of the Okanagan area, but first year world wide. If you have any questions, please let me know. As I receive questions, I will update the faq page.
Julia Trops
Julia Trops has sold over 1000 artworks internationally since 2004. Retaining the discipline, work ethic and integrity from her 12 year career in the military, this decorated artist maintains a studio in the Rotary Centre for the Arts with three other local artists. Julia is one of the original organizers of the Okanagan Erotic Art Show and has carried on the event on her own since 2009. Julia Trops is representing by Gallery Odin at Silver Star Ski Resort and at Creatio Gallery at Ex Nihilo Vineyards.

On the application, it said to contact you if we were not local (in regards to shipping I think??). Also, what email address do we send the online application to? What are you looking for in the artist bio since you mentioned that you don’t want anything about our work/CV? I love that you have a Paypal option!! I’ll definitely use that!!

The email address is submissions@okanaganeroticartshow.com – hopefully that email address is on the bottom of the submission form, both the info and the submission address should be there. I will check to make
sure.
The part about not being local is that I want to make sure people understand that the artist is responsible for shipping to and from the show, if selected – and sometimes this will determine if they want to be included or not.
The artist bio is about you – not your work… some people are using the standard I was born at, grew up at, but others are being a bit more creative – the bio just talks about your background.

Hi there,
Opening night is stated to be on friday May 26, 2012, however….May 26, 2012 is a saturday…??? And is the Artist meet and greet on thursday or friday???

Hi Susan, on the website, it states the meet and greet is Thursday and the opening is Friday. These dates are correct. I will go look at he submission form. All the best, Julia
