Jeff and Decoa Harder
Apart from being Ex Nihilo Vineyard partners, Jeff and Decoa are art lovers, and love pushing the envelope. Ex Nihilo Vineyards will be the new host of the 2010 Okanagan Erotic Art Show. Jeff and Decoa bring tremendous wine industry background to the management team, with a particular strength in brand development, strategic positioning and winery operations. Their close ties to the Napa Valley wine region affords them access to strategic alliances and the latest in industry knowledge and direction. Daneen Overend Agecoutay
Daneen is a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner (RNCP). Daneen meets with clients who are wanting to learn about following a nutritionally healthier lifestyle. Daneen is passionate about following a healthy lifestyle which includes eating a balanced whole food diet and exercising. Originally from Regina, Daneen has lived in West Kelowna for the past year and a half with her family and feels so lucky to experience all the Okanagan has to offer. Daneen works out of a local gym in West Kelowna and has an intense interest in the arts.
Daneen’s experience in the arts include a number of years as a graphic designer for the public service and for private clients and she has been applauded for her creative gifts from her clients. While health and fitness are the main focus of Daneen’s current career, she remains active in design. Daneen’s impressive accomplishments include fundraising for a major charitable organization and included participation in a marathon in Ireland and the completion of a marathon in Iceland. Both experiences enabled Daneen to enjoy some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world. As an active board member of The Responsible Animal Care Society, Daneen has as huge place in her heart for the welfare and care of animals.
Sharon Lancaster
Sharon Lancaster was nominated as a Winnipeg Arts Council Director in January 2006. Sharon recognizes the importance of arts and creativity in the building of a sustainable community; and believes that creativity must manifest itself in all its forms, in the workplace, in the schools, and in public places. An avid supporter in the development of creativity, Sharon draws from a myriad of experiences in the areas of marketing and communication as well as through committee memberships on a variety of boards and organizations.
As an instructor, marketer and entrepreneur for over 25 years, Sharon has provided insightful solutions for numerous companies and organizations including Cargill Grain, Canterra Seeds, Agricore United, Skills Canada Manitoba, SMD, Red River Exhibition, What; Savour; Manitoba Calling; and other magazines, all levels of Civic Government and most recently as a Licenced Commercial and Residential Real Estate Agent.
Sharon’s involvement in the community has included board positions for Junior Achievements – World of Choices Conference, IBM Women in Technology mentoring program, Red River College Creative Communications Board, Wired Women Winnipeg, the Manitoba Innovation Network and many others. Presently she is the owner of Slate Communications providing strategic and creative communication services to a diverse clientele.
