The show will go on!
After the false start earlier in the year with the Xtream Fantasy Sex Show, Okanagan Erotic Art Show organizer Julia Trops has confirmed the location of the 2010 Erotic Art Show. It will be at Ex Nihilo Vineyards in Lake Country October 14 to Nov 9.
Artists from Canada and the US are welcome to submit work. While most of the participants are expected to be from the Okanagan, Trops hopes that there is a bit of a wider reach this year.
What kind of work can be submitted to the Erotic Art Show?
“It really is open to interpretation. The theme this year is “Seduce me…” and you are welcome to let your creativity go wild in interpreting what that means to you. Tasteful and edgy submissions very much encouraged. All subject areas are welcome – fruit, landscape, abstract, figurative – the important thing is to submit works that somehow relate to the theme.”
“Artists are also encouraged to express this connection through a brief artist statement for each work.”
Artists are asked to submit works by the deadline September 25th, and these can be done by snail mail, drop off or email submissions@okanaganeroticartshow.com.
“There are a few spicy events that we are working on to make the show just that much more tantalizing this year.”
The jury for the 2010 Okanagan Erotic Art Show are Jeff and Decoa Harder, partners in Ex Nihilo Vineyards, Daneen Agecoutay, artist, and Sharon Lancaster, businesswoman.

Julia Trops
Julia Trops has sold over 1000 artworks internationally since 2004. Retaining the discipline, work ethic and integrity from her 12 year career in the military, this decorated artist maintains a studio in the Rotary Centre for the Arts with three other local artists. Julia is one of the original organizers of the Okanagan Erotic Art Show and has carried on the event on her own since 2009. Julia Trops is representing by Gallery Odin at Silver Star Ski Resort and at Creatio Gallery at Ex Nihilo Vineyards.

Hi Lauri! Yes, I have your app and your images, just need a cheque of $20 made to Okanagan Erotic Art Show. Anytime before Sep 25 is great! As usual I won’t be cashing any cheques until the show is hung. Hopefully you saw one of the small changes for this submission – there is a 30% commission to the winery. Installation will be the Tues or Wed, can’t remember now! ha! But the oOpening will be either the Friday or Saturday night (Oct 15 or 16). When I know more about Tit-Elating!
